The Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is the national governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding. They govern seven distinctly different Olympic sports -- alpine, cross country, disabled, freestyle, ski jumping, nordic combined, and snowboarding.
USSA is comprised of 30,000 athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers. More than 100,000 parents, supporters and devotees to the sport provide a backbone of athlete support
USSA manages 14 different men's and women's national teams
USSA's sports account for 50 percent of the Olympic Winter Games events
USSA is managed through a staff of over 100 coaches, managers, field staff and other athletic personnel
350 USSA member clubs nationwide provide entry-level programs for athletes and implementation of competition programs
Over 4,000 registered USSA coaches provide nationwide athlete training and program support through USSA clubs
Over 4,000 volunteer officials and judges provide support for USSA competition programs
